The Hale Hoaloha Lūʻau celebrates the beauty and stories of the land area around the Mauna Lani resort. This client came to us wanting branding that would be mindful of Hawaiian culture, honor the Mauna Lani resort and touch on the cultural aspects portrayed in their lūʻau.

One of our main source of inspiration for their branding came from the idea that the Mauna Lani resort is the “piko” (center) of the 5 majestic mountains: Haleakalā, Kohala, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa and Hualālai. We included symbols within the circle mark that symbolize these mountains. The waves symbolize the fish ponds nearby while the hut represents an ancient Hawaiian “hale” (house). The font for this logo was also custom designed by our team. We loved being a part of this amazing project!
